The past few days have been filled with so much connection, growth, and love, and I feel incredibly blessed to be able to share this experience with 16 amazing women from all corners of the world. Starting the day with journaling, meditation and heart-opening yoga was a perfect way to set the tone for the rest of the day. I was blown away by the openness and vulnerability of the women as we shared our relationships with food during my second workshop. It was an honor to be able to share my own story of healing from guilt around food and to facilitate a discussion where we could learn from each other’s experiences. The cooking class was a highlight for me. Seeing the women’s faces light up as I walked them through creating a delicious, healthy fried rice was such a joy. We ended the day with a traditional Balinese family-style dinner, and I could feel the bonds of our community growing stronger with each moment and shared laugh. But what has truly made this day special is the connection and sense of belonging that I feel among these women. Being surrounded by such strong, inspiring, and supportive women has reminded me of the power of community and the importance of creating spaces where we can come together to heal, learn, and grow. I’m excited and humbled to continue this journey with these incredible women and to see where it takes us. This experience has reaffirmed my belief in the incredible power of community, and I am so grateful for each and every one of the women who have chosen to be a part of it.
