Creating is my therapy.
Returning to the slippery, three dimensional world of glacial ice a year after breaking my leg (in a nearly identical environment) was more nerve wracking than I thought it would be. Not that I thought something would go wrong, just a vivid moment of life reminding me that we aren’t all invincible, and that we need to remember to learn from our mistakes... then pick up the camera/paint brush/pen and build on.
