ティム・ケンプルさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ティム・ケンプルInstagram)「Tech Tip Tuesday // Last week we released ‘Surfer Dan’ a film about surfing with @upsurferdan in the Great Lakes in the middle of winter (link in bio if you have already peeped it!) To celebrate this release I thought it might be fun to share a little bit about the gear we shot the film on. So for this #techtiptuesday we have a little dose of ‘What’s in the bag?!’ • • 1) Red Dragon Camera - We shot all of the land based content, and interviews with the Dragon. This camera has been around for a while, but it’s a workhorse. • • 2) Zeiss Super Speed Lenses - These older lenses from the 80s are less perfect or ‘clinical’ than modern day still lenses or Master Primes. I prefer this look, especially for this film. Perfect is over rated. Thanks to @redmanmovies for the long rental!• • 3) Inspire 1 Drone w/ X5s - The Inspire handles the wind like a beast. One day the gusts were over 50mph. As luck would have it, she actually crashed the last day of filming when an iceberg floated into our flight path... but luckily Surfer Dan was able to rescue her!! • • 4) MKH60 Microphone - We did all of our interviews and natural sound with the MKH60. Again a workhorse piece of equipment that sounds amazing. • • And... that’s it. The old mantra ‘light and fast’ pays off on these types of films.
