ティム・ケンプルさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ティム・ケンプルInstagram)「Without a doubt one of the best projects I have helped bring to life over the past couple of years is an amazing short-film series for @brooksrunning with @faithbeerose . It's called ‘Who Is A Runner’ and the goal is to use running as a way to connect communities to have informed (yet difficult) conversations in a safe space. We have dug into topics like race, Native rights, Asian hate, and the challenges of being LGBTQ in the south. The reception as a whole has been amazing, with the films winning awards at multiple festivals, and 2 Vimeo Staff Picks thus far.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Even more impressive to me however, is how the films really are bringing people together. Case in point… this Saturday - January 28th- our main characters from the premiere film @prolyfyckruncreww are hosting a free, don’t need to register… just show up at 8am.. Who Is a Runner 5k in Charlottesville, VA. Among the attendees will be @e.mcgrady @carolineperdue @omgvics @chinatownrunners and other community leaders. You don’t need to be a ‘runner’ to participate. You can walk, jog, or just be there to enjoy the films and participate in healthy conversation.
