Whether it’s big or small, a community requires investment. If everyone simply takes what will you be left with?
Over the past week we rallied a small group of Salt Lake City climbers to give back a little love to a climbing area (and more importantly a climbing community) that has given us much. A group of climbers that ranged in age from teen to ‘can’t remember a thing about highschool’ replaced about 50 aging bolts at the Diablo and Hell Ares in American Fork with some big beefy glue-in bolts that will last for the next few decades.
While I know there are bigger problems and challenges in the world today — even the biggest mountains require small steps.
Big thank you to everyone who came and helped out.
