To say that experiences in the outdoors - climbing, running, skiing - have changed my life in positive ways would be an understatement. From an early age I saw the crag, trail, summit as a melting pot. Where professors at MIT would strike up conversation with teenagers listening to rap music simply because of a shared connection to place. Income, appearance, politics... none of that mattered.
So it was exciting to be deeply involved in a project that was released this week for @メレル with @camp4collective that at its heart was a celebration of the trail and universal connection we all have, because it spoke to my optimistic view of the word.
I describe the project as, #ONETrail “A portrait of the outdoors thru the lens of 50 different photographers from 50 States all captures on the same day”
I’ll be sharing stories from the campaign over the next week.
