Spicy Prawns and Rice 🍚 🍤 🌶

makes 4 servings
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 red chili
1 red pepper, diced
¼ lb chorizo
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 ¼ cups long grain rice
1 ¾ cups water
⅔ cup green peas
⅓ lb prawns

With a little olive oil, cook the onions, garlic, chili, and red pepper. Add the chorizo to the veggies mixture and stir in the turmeric, salt, pepper, and  rice. Finally add the water to the mixture and let it simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked. Finally mixed in the peas and prawns and let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
