今日の和菓子:  金色鳥

金色の　ちいさき鳥の　かたちして　
銀杏ちるなり　夕日の岡に
 
黄色く色づいたいちょうの葉が、まるで金色の小鳥のような形をして散っています。
秋の夕日に照らされている丘の上で。

世界が金色に染まる秋。
また一つ、はらはらと舞う銀杏の葉が重なり合い、金色の絨毯となる。
そんな銀杏の葉を表現したういろうの和菓子です。

Today's Wagashi : Little Yellow Bird

In this season, leaves are turning red, orange and yellow in Japan and completely change the color of this world. Especially the golden glowing yellow ginkgo trees that sweep us off our feet. The leaves dancing in the air looks just like a little yellow bird. This confectionery is inspired by such beautiful autumn leaves in Japan.
