今日の和菓子：夏の夢
夜空を華やかに彩る無数の花火。
それはまるで一夏の恋のように、
儚く美しい夏の記憶。

今年はお祭りも花火もない寂しい夏...
なんだかどこかに夏をおき忘れてきたような喪失感をうめるべく、せめて器の上だけでも、大輪の花を咲かせたいと作った練切の花火。

8月22日、つくばにある「ろばの家」さんで数量限定で販売いただけることになったので、お近くの方は良かったら是非。

Today’s Wagashi : Summer Dream

Fireworks — the ephemeral art of illuminating the nocturnal sky with colors — are like transient and beautiful memories of summer.
As most of the summer events have been cancelled this year, I feel something is missing this season.
