A highlight of the expedition was spending two days with Betty Osceola @osceolabetty , a member of the Panther Clan of the Miccosukee Tribe and passionate advocate for the Everglades. Betty's profound connection to her ancestral home, strengthened by weekly airboat tours deep into the River of Grass, makes her voice resonate with wisdom that the world needs to hear. It will be a great privilege to share Betty's story in her own words when the film comes out next year. When not on her airboat, she can be found driving motorcycles and tending crops at her home within Big Cypress National Preserve.
