How many camera traps can you count in this photo? This is @malia_byrtus - field program manager for the @pathofthepanther project doing her daily work in the Everglades. Malia is a behind-the-scenes hero managing the network of custom photography and video camera traps deployed throughout the Florida Wildlife Corridor for a #LastWildPlaces partnership with @insidenatgeo (and me @carltonward). Our purpose is to capture elusive animals like the Florida panther and Florida black bear as part of a campaign to inspire the new land conservation needed to keep Florida wild.
