Photo by @jaredsoares Stephen Seals, actor/interpreter, who is currently portraying James Armistead Lafayette, an enslaved spy during the American Revolution, walks along Duke of Gloucester Street, the main artery at Colonial Williamsburg in the city of Williamsburg, Virginia. Lafayette’s role as a double agent involved feeding the British false information as well as reporting the activities of Benedict Arnold- after he defected to the British. Along with portraying Lafayette, Seals also works as a Community Outreach Liaison and Program Development Manager for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
