Much to my delight, mother nature provided clear, calm conditions and gifted us with one of those perfect Iceland summer sunsets that seemed to never end... bringing about good spirits only dampened by the storm we had no idea was approaching. I’ve been ruminating on this expedition recently after flying over a large section of it.. seeing the coast again just a year later... lots of memories stored there.
