My career took me many of the most iconic breaks in warm seas which had been a dream of mine for a long time.. but I was missing something on those crowded beaches with wifi, resorts, & constant stimulus. I was missing that pure connection with a landscape, interaction with a part of the earth that was still quiet... places where surfing doesn’t come to mind but turned out to be some of the most important parts of my career. Iceland, Norway, Kamchatka, Japan, Alaska & many others turned out to be answers to the call I was feeling early on in many ways I couldn’t have imagined...
