The perspective of a woman who has seen and done it all is invaluable. What a gift to be on the receiving end of these stories from someone who has navigated love, loss, raising children, managing a career, and all of life’s hurdles. It was beautiful and heartbreaking and also so inspiring. Of the many nuggets of wisdom she gifted me, there was one that I wanted to pass along in case it just so happens to be the exact thing you need to hear today. She said “Anytime I found myself on my knees, with the wind knocked out of me from some unpredictable life blow, it always led me to the most unimaginably prosperous moments.” In other words the biggest treasures came from the heaviest rains. I don’t know if you needed that today, but I definitely felt the power of those words when she shared them. It can apply to your home, your heart, your job, the state of the world, the collective shift we are experiencing globally - however it may speak to you - but it’s definitely worth keeping in our back pocket for a rainy day.
