Unfortunately I didn't get to see them at #LakeAkan but I was lucky enough to see them at #LakeKussharo 🤙. Kushiro is one of the coldest places in Japan, with temperatures in the mountains usually reaching minus 20 degrees Celsius! I bought a pair of snow boots @sorelfootwear 2 years ago and recommend them for winter travel . I love them in the winter because they are winterproof up to minus 40 degrees but look cute and stylish. My Kushiro guide @khana_harada2020 also had matching ones, so I took a photo of her with her frosted flowers 📷.
