Photo by @daviddoubilet A pair of brown booby seabirds rest on exposed coral near North Atoll in Tubbataha Reefs National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site in the heart of the Sulu Sea, Philippines. Tubbataha is one of the last seabird rookeries in this ocean nation consisting of 7000 islands. 38,000+ seabirds struggle for very little available space on North and South Atoll. Floating debris and exposed coral become prime resting places for exhausted birds that spent a long night at sea fishing.
