At this early hour, with a shake of the ears, causing a cloud of dust to rise into the cool air, it's as if they said "good morning" to another day. Slowly, without missing a stride or showing the slightest concern, they swayed and ambled gently past me and into the bush. I watched as the dust swept up by their passage eventually lost its battle for flight, and we both carried on as if the moments before had simply been a dream.
