Recycling copper wire by hand in a small village near New Delhi, India. Photo by @peteressick I been going through my images to register them with the copyright office. They must be sorted by the year published. I started with the most recent and have now worked back to 2008. This image was photographed for an NG story on E-waste published in January 2008. The women in this village do the hard work of stripping electrical wire by hand and are paid an average of just $2 a day. #the photosociety #auphotos
