Plunging through the roiling whitewater of multistory waterfalls is what 21-year-old professional kayaker Dane Jackson (@danejacksonkayak) does best. “I have been kayaking since I was two years old,” says Dane, whose father Eric Jackson (@ericjacksonkayak) is a freestyle kayaking legend and former Olympian. “I was around the river and around kayaking almost every day, so from the beginning I had no doubt I wanted to be a kayaker.” Based out of Walling, Tennessee, Dane spends nearly 300 days per year on the water, often in remote parts of the world navigating the planet’s most challenging whitewater. “I love being able to travel the world with my family and friends while doing my favorite sport and passion—and at the same time pushing myself physically and mentally.” To see more photos and videos from Dane’s epic whitewater adventures, follow @danejacksonkayak.
