Photo by @argonautphoto (Aaron Huey). I've been doing some exciting experiments with my 4 year old son @hawkeyehuey lately! (He's an analog shooter working strictly with wide format instant film) Yesterday he and I launched an assignment for parents with young kids on @ナショナルジオグラフィック's "YourShot" that will run for the next few weeks. This is a special assignment, because it's not just all about you! In this assignment you will both be shooting photos and submitting them. While this assignment is about exploring your photography and your willingness to engage with people through photography, it is also about exploring your relationship with your child, and your child's relationship with the world. This should be collaboration, where (quite often) you put down the camera to support them and talk to them about what they are learning.
