I photographed the Twin Towers of Light the first time they illuminated the New York skyline, March 2002, six months after the towers fell. The photo was taken while I was on assignment for the National Geographic Magazine. I stood on the upper most deck of the Empire State Building and used a medium format film camera. I post this photo on this special day as a tribute to those who were there and those who perished. #9/11 #twintowers #wtc #newyork @thephotosociety
