The snow was melting fro the valley bottoms, I was missing home and family, the work was done and other projects are calling, but it was still hard to leave. I will remember the many cool people I met at The Kicking Horse Lodge, Yamnuska, Nature in Focus, Parks Canada and in the alpine huts with the wood burning stoves. There were some long days and sore muscles involved with this assignment, but at times it felt like paradise here. It was those magical moments when time stood still and the light was right and everywhere there were pictures of a landscape that seemed to be almost talking back. For a photographer it doesn't get much better than that.
