I've been feeling weird about posting these pics of me on here because they're just of me. How weird is that to feel? That me on my own is not enough - there's no babies, no bump, just me. I wonder how many of you feel like this too? It's weird because before kids I only posted pics of myself. And when I got pregnant I vowed I wouldn't be one of THOSE mums who only talked about their kids and motherhood. But honestly, hats off to people who aren't those mums because I feel like it engulfs every part of my life. Still. Like even today, my dress looked epic - it's an old @nadinemerabi although I think she still sells it. And by the time I got to the venue my boobs were spilling out of the dress because I needed to pump. Whilst I was DJing I was checking my phone making sure that the kids were ok. I've spent nearly all of the last 3 1/2 years either pregnant or breastfeeding... So now when it's just me. Well it feels weird. My last few gigs Ada had come along with me! Anyway, so here is JUST ME. Looking and feeling more like my old self recently, and doing what I love again. But also not feeling like me much at all because I don't have my babies. But getting to DJ today was epic. I'll have to post footage soon, but I literally sprinted back to my baby girl! (Alf and Tommy are out on a daddy son day). 💘🙏🏼 If you're feeling lost in motherhood, I guess I just wanna say you'll find yourself again. And maybe you'll feel lost when you don't have the babies.
