It was one of the most humbling and painful experiences I’ve ever had to go through. It took away my life, my freedom to move, in a way I didn’t expect. However, how cliche it must sound, giving up was not an option. The blame was always put on fitness by doctors, while that was the one thing that made me strong & stabilized my back enough to feel less pain. - Now one year later, im lifting again. Moving again. Gaining muscle mass back. Feeling stronger and finally getting the confidence in my body back. I took control over my recovery and decided moving was the way to succes against the standard doctors advice of only laying down for months.
