安間佐千さんのインスタグラム写真 - (安間佐千Instagram)「秋の気配を感じる小川山。コツコツ開拓を進めていた2本のルートを先日初登することができた。ラーの天秤　5.11c チムニー、フェース、フィンガー、オーバーハングと次々に表情が変わる、30メートルをやや超えるロングルートで、終了点以外は全てNP。ロゼッタストーン　5.13d ボルト5本＋終了点とショートではあるが、カチが延々と続く小川山では珍しいコンティニュアスなルート。まだ夏開拓でグレードが分からないのだが、スペシャリストやたまごより悪い気がする。 (グレードはどちらも暫定的) このエリアは、以前にも書いたが、岩の摂理が複雑で、ラインを見出すのがすごく難しい。言い換えれば、どこでも登れてしまう岩。僕はただ、最も自然で美しいラインを見出せばいい。花崗岩はいつも言葉にならぬ声を出し、クライマーを導く。しかしそれは必ずしも自分のエゴが望むラインではない。その時葛藤は生まれ、判断が鈍ることがこれまで何度もあった。ラーの天秤のラインを見出した時、頭の神経回路に電気が流れて繋がるような衝撃があった。何時間もぶら下がって、何回も同じ壁を見つめ続け、ある時そのルートの魅力にハッと気づいたのだった。決して三つ星のルートではないし、独創的なわけでもない。でも確かに僕は岩の声を聞き入れることができたと思っている。グレードでもクオリティでもなく、そこにある個性を感じられた時、感動するものなんだなぁ。 I can feel the signs of autumn in Ogawayama. I had been working hard during the summer and was able to make the first ascent of two routes. The Scales of Ra 5.11c A long route over 30 meters with chimney, face, finger crack, and overhangs, all natural protection except for the anchor. The grade is tentative. Rosetta Stone 5.13d A short route with 5 bolts and anchor. It is a continuous route with crimps which is rare in Ogawayama. I don't know the grade yet as it was climbed in summer, but I think it is harder than Specialist or Tamago. As I have written before, this area is very difficult to find a line due to the complicated rock formations. In other words, you can climb anywhere. I just have to find the most natural and beautiful line. Granite always speaks with a voice you can't hear and leading climbers. But often it is not always fit with what my ego wants. In the midst of this conflict, my judgment has been clouded many times in the past. When I found the line of The Scales of Ra, it was like a jolt of electricity flowing through and connecting the neural pathways in my head. I hung there for hours, staring at the same wall over and over again, and then I realized that the route was fascinating. It isn’t a three-star or special route. But I certainly believe I was able to hear the voice of the rock. Even if the grade or quality is low, I am impressed when I feel a sense of individuality in it.
