In 2017, I hosted an episode of @cnnstyle devoted to French chic. We immediately thought of Jane Birkin because she has been the definition of effortless, feminine beauty for half a century. When news broke that she had died in Paris at the age of 76, I dug into the interviews with Birkin and her daughter @ルー・ドワイヨン. She was an absolute legend and the world is a little bit chicer for her having been in it. Thinking of her family and loved ones 🕊️🤍
