This is the part that is praised, envied and sought after, but most fail to understand/identify the pieces that need to be in place for this to come to life. I started this journey more than a decade ago and my team has been with me since the beginning. The team has grown during the years, but the foundation has never changed. My family, my mom and dad, who have always been there and still are through everything, doing whatever is needed for me to be successful @frederikaegidius who is my other half, pushes me in training, who cooks for me, who does the laundry (most of the time), who picks up Freyja when training runs late, who buys me chocolate when I’m feeling down and basically everything anyone could ever ask from a partner - and then some. @jamitikkanen who has been with me since the beginning, who has made sure I’ve always been at my best come competition day and gone above and beyond to keep my doing this for more than a decade. @andrewmartindc March 2013 and I thought it was over. Nerve pain down my left leg for almost 6 months and no real improvement. Weekly trips from Iceland to London for more than 3 months to @activebacks was the beginning to another 10 years of competition. Andrew has been with me ever since, flying to Iceland to help me do what I love, mostly pain-free.
