The last two months housed so much uncertainty, but within that lives the gift of remembering that health is truly our greatest fortune. Health + Love. The mamas in my orbit decided it was time to celebrate and semi-surprised me with the most beautiful and intimate blessing way. So many tears that day. So much love. The most perfect group of people I hold so close to my heart. All I remember is at one point five girlfriends insisted I sit down so they could rub my feet, elbows, hands and buttcheeks (have you ever had your butt massaged? Wow.) Now that is love.
From floral cakes to outdoor crossed legged time together on floor pillows it was just so stunning. @サラ・ライト your gift with words is beyond. Your poem cracked my soul wide open. @lindseydupuis you make everything so magical. You know me so well, you sprinkled in the sweetest details and hand-vegetable-dyed onesies and our sister-ship is something I cherish now and forever. @sarah1360 , your generosity + opening your home and heart in the ways you do are just beyond. You are one of the most pure and genuine people I know, and I am lucky to have you in my life. My big sister @grazielagems , where to begin. Your thoughtfulness. Bringing together the light and love with all the gems (pun intended) that make up who you are, I am so grateful for your heart always. You go above and beyond for the ones you love. @ルーマー・ウィリス being on this mama journey with you is so beautiful. I am so excited to do this together, and to see you step into this next chapter. And @ジェナ・ディーワン thank you for wanting to be a part of this magical afternoon. Our connection runs so deep, and even with our crammed calendars we still find the time!
What I have learned as I have gotten older is that life really is all about love. How you give love. How you love yourself. Who you love. When you allow yourself to receive love. We’re all just roaming this Earth in search of connection and love. And at the end of it all, there’s only one thing left, and that is love. Thank you for showering me and baby with love. I am damn lucky to have such special people in my life.
