I grew up and became a model, it seemed exciting to go and work in the frivolous industry of fashion in the biggest cities in the world. And I got lucky, it went well for me. But after climbing this ladder for years, I had a big realisation. I knew very little about where the clothes came from, nor who made them.

I couldn’t help but notice, the root of every thread to this story was always SOIL. But why had I never stopped to say “thank you Farmers, for growing my clothes for me?”

I realised that there is an immense disconnect between the fashion industry and the soil from which everything is created.

This is why I created my charity DIRT.
