Mitsubishi Ichigokan, the predecessor to the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, was built in 1894 and designed by British architect Josiah Conder.
The Queen Anne-style building, popular in England at the end of the 19th century, still is one of the prominent parts of the Marunouchi area today.

19世紀末に英国で流行したクイーン・アン様式の建物は、現在でも丸の内エリアの核となる存在の一つです。
