The statue of the Dragon God (Shara Ryuo), made by Koun Takamura, at the Senso-ji Temple fountain 🐉
Dragons are believed to be the guardians of water, and there’s also an ink drawing of a dragon on the ceiling by Shoko Azuma. You can come across them while cleansing yourself before visiting the temple.

浅草寺のお水舎には、高村光雲が作った龍神像（沙竭羅龍王像）があります。
龍は水をつかさどるとされ、天井にも東韶光による墨絵の龍が描かれています🐉
お参りをする前に身を清めながら、このような作品と出会えるのも浅草寺の魅力ですね。
