Going back through some videos of my previous trip to Baja California to visit the friendly gray whales. This encounter with my family onboard was hands down the most fun I have ever had with any whale. This mother and calf, who we were lucky to spend time with many times, would play with the boat for hours, dancing around, looking for a good scratch, and squirting water back at us. These are moments I will miss quite a bit this year, but the memories and hope to have them again another year more than make up for that.
