L is Love. 
L is Liberty. 
L is Light.

In our country Japan, marriage of couples of the same gender is not allowed. 

We are ‘two people who just want to stay together’, but when we are together, we have to prove our social roles to the society.  There also are moments when we need to fight for  ‘liberty’ in our own hands.  Sometimes we have to ‘make and choose decisions’ that others don’t have to do. 

Even when there are times that I get hurt and lose my strength, I may be able to stand up again if you are there.  Because, your love is a huge strength to me.

But all the liberty that we are receiving  now, may have been seized by someone long ago.  So I want to continue raising my voice for liberty. 

Not only just ‘me’, I believe ‘we’ can make it come true.

私たちの国、日本では同性婚が認められていません。

本来なら「ただの２人」であるはずなのに、２人が共にいるだけで、そこに社会的な"意義"が生まれてしまいます。そして、自ら"自由"を掴みにいかなければならない瞬間だってあります。他の人たちが"しなくていい"選択肢を選ばなければならない時もあります。

傷つくことや力が尽きてしまいそうな時もあったとしても、あなたがいてくれたら、また立ち上がれるかもしれません。なぜならば、あなたの愛は私の大きな力になるから。

今あるすべての自由は、大昔に誰かが掴み取ってくれたものかもしれない。だから私も、自由を手に入れるために声を上げていきたいと思います。

「私」ではなく「私たち」なら、叶うと信じています。
