Video by @michaelchristopherbrown / An orb-weaver spider consumes his web at sunset, in Los Angeles, California. Like this orb-weaver occupying our deck, many often build a new web each day. They tend to become active during the evening hours, hiding out for most of the day. Toward evening, the orb-weaver will consume the old web, rest for approximately an hour, then spin a new web in the same general location.
