GINZA SIX館内を散策しながらアートに出会う「GINZA SIX ART RAMBLING」。

今回ご紹介するNEASDEN CONTROL CENTRE（ニースデン コントロール センター）は、イギリスを拠点にエキシビション、インスタレーション、グラフィックデザイン、イラスト、タイポグラフィなど、多岐にわたる制作活動で知られるアーティスト。様々な素材を混沌としながらもグラフィカルに再構築した作風が国際的にも支持され、世界各地の美術館やギャラリーでの展示、作品集も数多く出版されています。

今回は5F「72degrees Juicery＋ Café by David Myers」のエントランス手前に《The Power of Joy, Live and Love!》、同じく5Fの北側トイレに至る通路に拡声器が目印の《Blow Your Whistle Blow Your Horn, Power On !》、B1Fの北エレベーター付近に《Corium Drift》と、それぞれ強いメッセージが込められた3作品を届けてくれました。

Today, the artist we would like to introduce to you is NEASDEN CONTROL CENTRE, a U.K.-based artist known for his illustrations, graphic art, and typography. His distinct style involves a diverse jumble of elements arranged intuitively. His work has been exhibited at art museums and galleries around the world and has also been compiled in a number of books.

Encounter three of his powerful works at GINZA SIX: “The Power of Joy, Live and Love!” in front of the entrance of 72 Degrees Juicery＋ Café by David Myers on the 5th floor, “Blow Your Whistle Blow Your Horn, Power On!” along the hallway to the restrooms on the north side of the 5th floor, and “Corium Drift” near the elevators on the north side of the first basement floor (B1F).
