Photo by @gabrielegalimbertiphoto and Juri De Luca Fossils of long-extinct creatures aren’t just for museums. Today they're in homes and businesses, as wealthy collectors indulge a controversial hobby. In Udine, Italy, Stefano Piccini, 54, a paleontologist and businessman, plays pool at home with his son Riccardo, 11. His daughter, Amalia, 13, is seated next to a cast of a T-Rex skull, made from the famous Sue, one of the largest, most extensive, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever found. Stefano also owns a real skull of a triceratops, an ichthyosaurus, and many other much smaller fossils. #dinosaur #fossil #extinct #dinosaurs
