Chase Dekker Wild-Life Imagesさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Chase Dekker Wild-Life ImagesInstagram)「Almost half a year later and I’m still receiving messages and queries about the sea lion who couldn’t get out of the way from a lunge feeding humpback whale. I wanted to finally release more of the images from the sequence to allow everyone to chance to see what happened and to make your own call. Many have accused me of photoshopping the event, which is quite flattering truthfully since I’m not that brilliant with photoshop, so hopefully these will put that theory to rest. However, even by looking at the series of images for months now, I still cannot decide whether the sea lion rolled out over the side of the mouth, or fell deeper inside the throat pleats before it swam away when the whale eventually sank back down. You’ll notice in the last image, the throat pleats are fully expanded and the whale held that position for about 10-12 seconds while slowing sinking under the waves (there is another whale behind the one in front). Was the sea lion inside? Was the whale just making sure it was out? Let me know what you think about this weird moment in nature!」1月23日 3時32分 - chasedekkerphotography
