Any chance I get, I’d much rather photograph an animal surrounded by its environment than just an up-close portrait. Of course the scenery around the subject isn’t always that spectacular, but every now and again things pan out. While there’s no dramatic landscape wrapped around this bull moose, the dramatic clouds and low light hitting the fall colored cottonwoods was too good to pass up!
