Before the wolf awakens, the biologists gave the wolf a quick physical exam and fit it with a radio collar. Wolves are now thriving in Yellowstone, but researchers monitor them closely. In 2014-15, I had one of the greatest adventures of my life, photographing Yellowstone National Park, its wildlife, and the surrounding communities to mark the 100 year anniversary of the creation of the U.S. national park service.
