人生は、たらいの水のようなものだと教えてもらったことがあります。たらいの水は、まず自分の方に引き寄せようとすれば、両手からあふれて反対側に流れていってしまう……。逆に、先にどうぞと水を押し出せば、やがて自分の方に戻ってくる。そう、まず先に人を誉めたり、人を立てたり、人のためになることは、いつか必ず自分のためになるということなのです。大変なことや辛いこともいっぱいあるけど、なるべく、その人やそのモノの素敵な部分や良い部分を見つけて生きていきたいですね。きっと自分に戻ってくるだろうから……。海を見ると、いつもこの言葉を思い出すんです。
