朝目が覚めカーテンを開けると……。そこには見たことのない景色が広がります。「船旅」というと、日本ではまだまだ馴染みが少ないせいでしょうか。「値段が高い」「時間と余裕がない」「お年寄りの旅でしょ？」というイメージをお持ちの方がいらっしゃると思いますが、欧米では“旅の理想形”として親しまれています。船旅の中には、私たち人間が忘れてしまった本質が集約されています。日の出や、日の入りに感動し、生きて行くために食す料理に舌鼓を打つ。日々の忙しい時間から解放され、知らな街を散策したり、海を眺めたり、夜空に浮かぶ星を眺めたり……。見るもの、出会う人、すべてから刺激を受けます。太陽の動きを感じて、食べて寝る。もしかしたら、ただそれだけでも太古の人たちにとっては幸せだったのかもしれません。多忙な現代人にとって「船旅」とは、忘れてしまった「ゆったりとした時間の流れ」を愉しむ、非日常という日常の中で、本質を思い出させてくれるものなのかもしれません。「船旅」には、人生と同じように様々な感動が詰まっているんです。

When I awoke in the morning and opened the curtain ... .... The scenery which I have not seen is expanded there. When saying "a cruise journey", is not familiar still a little in Japan? I think that there are some people who have the image of "expensive", "there is no time and room", "a journey of the elderly?", But in Europe and the United States it is popular as "the ideal form of travel". In the ship's journey, the essence that we human being forgotten is consolidated. Be impressed by the sunrise and the sunset, and strike a dish to eat to live. Liberated from the busy time of the day, walking around the known city, watching the ocean, watching the stars floating in the night sky ... .... I get stimulation from what I see, people I meet, everything. Feel the movement of the sun, eat and sleep. Perhaps, it just might have been happy for ancient people. For busy modern people "Voyage" may be a reminder of essence in everyday life which is pleasant "forgotten time flow" that I forgot. "Voyage" is filled with various emotions as well as life.
