Unfortunately, this formula has introduced a plethora of problems into our oceans. Here, a diver descends through tens of thousands of Atlantic Salmon to pick out the dead ones off of the bottom. The industrial practice of fish farming has not been allowed in Alaskan waters for good reason. New science is showing that up to 80% of these fish in British Columbia carry a highly contagious blood-borne virus called Piscine Reovirus.
