"I was fortunate enough to visit the Gorge in early June when I met up with fellow photographer @j.snow_photo who flew in from Utah. This was my first visit to the Columbia River Gorge and it meant a lot at the time but means much more now considering the fire that would take place just a few short months later. So much of this gorgeous green foliage is completely destroyed and may not look the same for a very long time. The memories I have from visiting many of these falls will forever be ingrained in me, and I am thankful I had the opportunity to see it as it was and look forward to seeing nature rebuild itself."
