Photo by @daviddoubilet A tower of barracuda stretch 80 feet high toward the surface in Kimbe Bay Papua New Guinea. This school of barracuda lives on a seamount called Bradford shoal. The school had a daily routine you could set your clock by. In the morning they circled the seamount at 200 feet. At mid day they rose and circled the the top of the seamount. In the afternoon they would form giant towers that would break apart at dusk as they we went off to hunt for dinner.
