Looking down at the exhaust section of #GE’s 9HA gas #turbine, or, as it’s called colloquially, HArriet. Short for High efficiency and Air cooled, HArriet is the world’s largest and most efficient gas turbine of her kind. HArriet just completed testing at a unique state-of-the-art facility in #Greenville, SC. Here, engineers are seeing how the turbine performs against extreme conditions that it’ll likely never see in the field.
