Today marks the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, a day that marked the end of WWII and the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany. As history remembers the efforts of the soldiers, we also take a look back at Marie Kappa, a government ordnance inspector stationed at #GE Erie Works. The efforts of Kappa and millions of others paid off, as the deadliest war in history ended in European theater.
