The third is most likely a rival adult. Sometimes it is confusing to understand this behavior. For them, I am sure that they feel quite certain in their actions. As I did not understand the behavior, I had to break it down into shapes and patterns. For me, the truly exciting part was how they released millions of micro-bubbles from their feathers underwater to accelerate in order to avoid leopard seal predation.
