Happy New Year! To welcome the year of the goat, I’d like to share this view of The Great Wall of China the morning after a rare winter snow fall. I was in Yunnan Province when I received word of the snow, and drove like mad to the nearest airport, caught a redeye to Beijing, and climbed the wall before sunrise. 90% of photography is being in the right place at the right time.
