This is a photo from a story that I took right at the beginning of my career with @ナショナルジオグラフィック. It was my third story, and I was asked to go out into the #Kluane National Park to photograph life in and around the world's largest non-polar glacier.

For four weeks in 1996 I skied around the #Nunatak with David Hick, skiing some 8kms a day until I came back at a perfect body weight and feeling very fit. The weather conditions were pretty brutal at times, but it was one of the most exhausting and liberating experiences I've had in my work with the magazine.
